Mentally ill man ‘commits suicide’ in Bamyan

BAYMAN CITY (Pajhwok): A 25-year-old man has committed suicide by shooting himself with shot gun in Shaibar district of central Bamyan province, police official said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Mohammad Khwani Rasa told Pajhwok Afghan News that 25-year-old man ended his life with shooting himself with a shot gun on Monday evening.

“The incident occurred when Niamatullah was carrying shot himself inside his house and ended his life,” he added.

Rasa called mental illness behind the incident.
