KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate has once again urged the UN Security Council to reverse the travel ban on its officials.
In an interview with a private broadcaster, the head of IEA’s Political Office in Doha reiterated the call for an end to the travel restrictions.
The ban should go to facilitate meaningful interaction between the caretaker government and the global fraternity, Suhail Shaheen argued.
TOLOnews quoted him as saying the travel ban on senior members of the Islamic Emirate must be lifted as soon as possible.
Travel exemptions for 13 IEA officials ended about a year, but the UN Security Council is yet to extend their travel freedom.
