PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Afghan students pursuing digital marketing courses in Pakistan’s northwestern city of Peshawar have been given digital tablets for skill development.
Participating in courses under the Livelihood Improvement & Vocational Skills Training for Afghan Refugees Programme, the students got tablets at a ceremony jointly organised by Pak Mission Society and UNHCR.
The initiative offers free vocational training to more than 250 students, primarily Afghans, with 23 attending digital marketing and mobile repair courses.
Project Manager Muhammad Akbar told participants all parties involved remained committed to empowering Afghan refugees and promoting socio-economic progress.
