KABUL (Pajhwok) Kazakhstan will hold an economic meeting with Afghanistan next month, in which more than 150 representatives from different economic sectors will participate.
Tass news agency, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, reported that the economic meeting between Kazakhstan and Afghanistan will be held from August 3 to 5, in Astana, the nation’s capital.
It said that more than 150 representatives from various departments, including Afghan banks, will participate in the meeting, and representatives of the Ministry of Trade, banks, logistics and transportation companies of Kazakhstan will hold talks with the participating Afghans.
According to the report, an exhibition of Afghan products will be held on the sidelines of the meeting, and about 70 companies from Afghanistan will participate in the exhibition.
Last week, the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan said that a delegation from the ministry along with representatives of the private sector would travel to Kazakhstan in the coming week to display the country’s products in 70 booths there.
