AIBAK (Pajhwok): Three members of a family died and five others were injured in a traffic accident in northern Samangan province, an official said on Monday.
Syed Osman Hamidi, regional hospital head, said a vehicle overturned in Robatak area on the Samangan-Baghlan road late yesterday.
He said two women were among three people killed in the accident that left five others, including a girl, injured.
According to him, three of the injured were transferred to Balkh Regional Hospital for treatment for being serious.
The cause of the accident is yet to be known, but most such accidents result from drivers’ carelessness and bad condition of roads.
