9 of a family wounded in Samangan collision

AIBAK (Pajhwok): At least nine members of a family have been wounded as a result of traffic accident in northern Samangan province, an official said on Tuesday.

Syed Osman Hamidi, director of the main provincial hospital, said the accident took place after a Corolla car, on the way to Kunduz City from Aqcha district, collided with a truck in Rabatak area of the provincial capital.

He said nine members of a family, including four children, as many women and a man, were injured in the collision.

The hospital director added, the injured were currently under medical treatment, with two children and a woman in critical condition.

A day earlier, three members of a family were killed and five others injured in traffic accident in the same province.
