KANDAHARCITY (Pajhwok): The Asan Khidmat branch has been opened for the first time in Kandahar City, the capital of southern Kandahar province, an official said on Thursday.
Jihad Gul Pason, head of the Asan Khidmat Department, said Kandahar has huge population so there was the need for the opening of Asan Khidmat Branch so that ID related and other issues are swiftly addressed.
He said currently 26 persons are employed in this branch who will implemented their duties related to the correction of IDs, issuance of birth certificate and other statistics related matters.
