Tourist bicycles from Germany to Panjsher for sightseeing

PARAKH (Pajhwok): A German tourist named “Marco” has arrived in central Panjsher province on a bicycle after travelling thousands of kilometers.

Nasrullah Malikzada, Panjsher information and culture director, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Marco first arrived in western Herat province from Germany after crossing several countries and reached Panjsher.

He said the tourist entered Panjsher to visit scenic and picturesque areas. He plans to visit other provinces as well.

Malikzada said the German tourist called foreign media reports about the security situation in Panjsher “biased” and said he found the situation of the province contrary to what some foreign media portrayed it.

The tourist said the residents of Panjsher province continued their normal life in a stable situation.

Meanwhile, based on reports, 10 Polish tourists also arrived in Panjsher province on Friday for sightseeing.
