QALAT (Pajhwok): One individual was killed and 19 others were wounded as a passenger-bus overturned on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in the Shahr-i-Safadistrict of southern Zabul province on Sunday.
Police spokesman Zabihullah Johar told Pajhwok Afghan News a 404-typepassenger bus flipped over on the busy highway in Khorzani area at around 6:00am.
He said the driver of the bus was killed in the accident and 19 passengers, including women and children, were injured
He added the injured were evacuated to the Mirwais Zonal Hospital in neighbouring Kandahar province.
A day earlier, a man was died and two more were injured when a vehicle overturned in same province.
