ATLANTA (Pajhwok): The Killid Radio head and another journalist have been arrested by security personnel in eastern Nangarhar province, according to the Afghanistan Journalists Centre (AJC) on Friday.
AJC statement said that Killid Radio Head Faqir Mohammad Faqirzai and another journalist Jan Agha Saleh were arrested at around 3:00 pm on Thursday by local intelligence personnel.
It added the reason behind the arrest of these two journalists was not known and local officials also did not comment on their arrest.
