3 Afghans held in Kohat for organising music show

PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Three Afghan nationals have been detained for organising a music programme and resorting to firing into the air in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The music programme and gunfire in the garrison town of Kohat inconvenienced residents of nearby houses, especially patients, police said..

A group of transgender people attending the show in front of the KDA Township had a scuffle with the raiding party from the Junglekhel police station, Dawn reported on Sunday.

Police official Roman Shah said a local resident had asked him to stop the loud playing of music and firing at night. He confirmed the arrest of three Afghans for celebratory fire and organising the function.
