No one allowed to threaten Afghanistan’s independence: Mujahid

KABUL (Pajhwok): On second anniversary of its re-establishment, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) on Tuesday reiterated commitments to serving the nation within the framework of Islamic principles and warned it will allow no one to threaten the country’s independence.

The previous government collapsed in August, 2021, and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan took over and created the current caretaker government.

Today (Tuesday) marked two years of the Islamic Emirate’s return to power.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the IEA spokesman, in a statement published on X said: “History witnessed that Afghans rendered great sacrifices for their religion, country and freedom, and as a result of these sacrifices, a huge dream came true with the establishment of a pure Islamic system.”

According to the statement, now nationwide security is ensured, the entire territory of the country is managed under a single leadership, an Islamic system is in place, everything is explained from the angle of Sharia, all this is the result of the sacrifices of the people and the "Mujahideen".

The statement said: “The conquest of Kabul proved once again that no one can rule the proud and Mujahid nation of Afghanistan by force with the help of foreigners and guarantee their survival.”

“This day also showed that all efforts of the invaders faced with failure and no invading force can defeat the will of the Afghan mujahid nation and impose their arbitrary regime on them by force with weapons and conspiracies”.

Mujahid said the IEA leaders were committed to serving their nation within the framework of Islamic Sharia and working for the prosperity and stability of the country. No invader was allowed to threaten the freedom and independence of Afghanistan.
