SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): One individual has been killed and four others wounded as a result of a traffic accident in northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Abdul Sattar Haleemi said the accident took place in the Pul-Naw area of Aqcha district on the Shiberghan-Mazar-i-Sharif highway.
He said one man lost his life and four others were injured in the incident at 7:00am when two speeding cars collided.
The injured were evacuated to the main provincial hospital for medical treatment, according to the official, who said the wounded were in stable condition.
