1 killed, 11 wounded in Ghazni, Bamyan traffic accidents

GHAZNI/ BAMYAN (Pajhwok): One person has been killed and 11 others wounded in separate traffic accidents in southern Ghazni and central Bamyan provinces, officials said on Sunday.

Ghazni police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News one individual was killed and two others wounded after two motorcycles collided in Milo area of Qarabagh district.

He said the accident resulted from recklessness of the motorcyclists.

Separately, a vehicle flipped over in Ab-Band district of Ghazni province, causing casualties.

In Bamyan province, nine people were injured in three separate traffic accidents.

Police spokesman Mohammad Khwani Rasa told Pajhwok Afghan News the accidents involving cars took place in Shahidano area of the provincial capital and Sabzab Kalo area of Shibar district.
