KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Some residents of Kajor area in the newly created Lor Shawali Kot district of southern Kandahar province say they have been deprived of telecommunication services since long.
They urge the government to activate telecommunication networks in their area where more than 10,000 families live who travel for five hours in a car to the district center to contact their relatives.
Mohammad Ashraf, a resident of Kajor area, told Pajhwok Afghan News telecom networks did not work in their area and people had to travel to the district center when they needed to make call.
