Afghanistan, Pakistan square off for 2nd ODI today

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan and Pakistan are set to square off in their second one-day international encounter in Sri Lanka today (Thursday).

The match will start at 2:00pm (Afghanistan time) at Hambantota. Pakistan are leading the three-match series one-nil.

Having outclassed the hosts by 142 runs in the opener, Pakistan will be eyeing an unassailable 2-0 lead in the second match at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium.

Haris Rauf, claiming his first five-wicket haul in ODI cricket, had played a key role in bundling the opposition out for 59.  Chasing 202, not a big total, turned out to be difficult task for Afghanistan.
