KABUL (Pajhwok): A 30-member delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the country’s deputy Investment, Industry and Trade Minister Nozimdjon Kholmurodov, arrived to Kabul on Saturday.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) published a statement on its X handle, saying the delegation from Uzbekistan was welcomed by deputy commerce and industry minister Qudratullah Jamal.
It said the purpose of the delegation’s trip to Kabul was to consolidate and strengthen trade, transit and investment relations between the two countries in the fields of electricity, technology, food, oils and products, and both sides will have technical discussions.
The statement quoted Jamal as assuring that the Islamic Emirate was ready for full and all-round cooperation in investment sector to strengthen trade relations with Uzbekistan.
