KABUL (Pajhwok): The ongoing Russian invasion has left over 1,300 schools destroyed in government-controlled areas of Ukraine, says UNICEF.
Reuters the UN children’s fund as saying on Tuesday only about a third of school-age children were physically attending classes and many were forgetting what they had already learnt.
More than 50 percent of the children whose families have fled to seven different countries are out of school due to language barriers.
