KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi has asked world countries especially the Islamic countries to take full advantage of available investment opportunities in Afghanistan and initiate development projects, an official said on Friday.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, deputy spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on his Twitter handle wrote that Muttaqi held a meeting with representatives of the Islamic Cooperation Organisation (OIC) and ulema.
Muttaqi has asked OIC to stand by the people of Afghanistan and convey the real situation and ground realities of Afghanistan to their leaders and other world countries.
He said this was the time where OIC and other world countries should take full advantage of investment opportunities in Afghanistan and initiating development project here.
According to the source the visiting ulema delegation also talked and shared their views regarding their visit to Afghanistan.
