Heavy rain, floods predicated in 9 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transport and Aviation on Saturday predicated heavy rains with lightning and flash floods in nine provinces of the country.

In a statement, the ministry said heavy rainfall with lightning and flash floods were expected today and tomorrow in Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Logar, Paktia, Khost and Paktika province.

It said 15mm to 30mm rainfall was expected in different areas.
