KABUL (Pajhwok): Outgoing Turkish ambassador to Afghanistan has reaffirmed his country’s continued assistance and support with Kabul, while a Turkish company is interested to invest in Afghanistan.
Maulvi Abdul Kabir, deputy prime minister for political affairs, met with Cihad Erginay, the outgoing Turkish ambassador to Kabul, on Monday and bid him farewell on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Afghanistan.
The deputy PM asked Erginay to encourage Turkish businesspeople and investors to invest in Afghanistan, his office said in a statement.
The source said the diplomatic tenure of Erginay has ended in Afghanistan and he assured Turkey’s continued assistance with Afghanistan.
According to another report, a Turkish company has showed interest to make investment in Afghanistan.
The Turkish company (International Economic Global Center) head said in a meeting with Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, acting minister of economy, that he was interested in investing in energy and agriculture sectors in Afghanistan.
