4 trying to smuggle $70,000 to Pakistan detained: MoI

KABUL (Pajhwok): Police have arrested four people trying to smuggle 70,000 US dollars to Pakistan through the Torkham crossing in eastern Nangarhar province, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Wednesday.

MoI spokesman Mufti Abdul Matin Qani wrote on his X handle: “Four smugglers who wanted to transfer $70,000 to Pakistan were identified and arrested by border police and Interpol personnel.”
