Won’t allow unfair criticism against the system: Stanikzai

KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai says the countries of the world are obliged to take part in Afghanistan’s reconstruction and development based on the Doha agreement.

In a video clip, Stanikzai said: “We are not against criticism, but it should be in line with Islamic principles. The criticism that strives to destroy the system and confuse public minds is not allowed.”

“The world accepted that there is no alternative to the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan. The current government is the only system that can save this country from misery, poverty, hunger and problems,” he added.

According to him, the Islamic Emirate alone is striving to build Afghanistan and it may take some time.

Stanikzai recalled: “We urged the international community, the UN, and friendly countries in the region to take positive steps in the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan.”
