PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): As many as 120 bags of sugar have been seized from a warehouse in an Afghan refugee camp in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
During a raid by the Kohat district food controller, the store owner –an Afghan national — was also arrested, Dawn reported on Tuesday.
The warehouse owner was identified as Noor Hussain. After being taken into custody, a case was registered against him for hoarding the commodity, whose price has sky-rocketed in recent months.
