TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) supreme leader Sheikh Haibatullah Akhundzada yesterday (Friday) travelled to central Uruzgan province and met officials, religious scholars and tribal leaders, an official said on Saturday.
IEA spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told Pajhwok Afghan News the supreme leader listened to people’s problems during his trip and issued necessary instructions to officials to address them.
He said: “His highness Amirul Momineen, may Allah protect him, went to Uruzgan province yesterday, where he met with officials, scholars, influential people and tribal leaders and listened to their problems and difficulties and gave necessary instructions. He assessed the affairs of the province.”’
