US still violating Afghan airspace, says Stanikzai

PARAKH (Pajhwok): Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Stanikzai says US and NATO forces, following their defeat in Afghanistan, have resorted to initiating a political and intelligence war.

On a trip to central Panjsher province, Stanikzai made the remarks at a public gathering, which was attended by a large number of people and local officials.

He stressed the need for strong national unity and asked political opponents to return home and participate in the reconstruction of the country.

Stanikzai said they were committed to the education of girls in light of Islamic teachings and Afghan culture.

He grumbled that the airspace of Afghanistan continued to be violated by the US forces, which withdrew from the country two years ago.
