FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): More than 10,000 kilograms of different types of narcotics were torched in western Ghor province, police said on Thursday.
Abdul Rahman Badri, Ghor police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the narcotics had been seized during operations by joint security forces in Ferozkoh, the provincial capital, and districts of the province.
According to Badri, 10,000 kilograms of ephedra, 166 kilograms of methamphetamine and 40 liters of alcohol drinks were set on fire.
A day earlier, police said security forces destroyed 20 drugs processing factories in the province.
