US leading donor to meet vital needs of Afghans: West

KABUL (Pajhwok): US Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West says his country remains the leading donor of humanitarian aid to meet the vital needs of Afghans.

West wrote on his X page: “I was pleased to meet yesterday with @UNReliefChief Martin Griffiths on the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.”

He said the United States remained the leading donor of humanitarian aid to meet the critical needs of Afghans. “Grateful to our implementing partners for delivering consistent with global principles”.
