KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of Chinese industrialists want to shift machinery for mobile phone charger manufacture worth $1.25 million and establish a factory in Afghanistan.
On its X page, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) wrote that Deputy Minister Maulvi Qudratullah met Chinese industrialists and traders at his office on Tuesday.
The visiting businesspeople said they had a plan to bring machinery worth $1.25 million from China to Afghanistan for the production of mobile phone chargers in the near future.
About 300 people would be provided employment by the joint production company. These Chinese team also promised to invest $10 million in some other areas.
Qudratullah urged the production factory to focus quality and competitiveness to win Afghan people’s confidence and establish its reputation.
