KABUL (Pajhwok): Over 600 robbed vehicles had been identified nationwide in the past eight months after the electronic registration of vehicles had started, according to the General Traffic Department on Tuesday.
On its Twitter handle the Traffic Department wrote that all of these vehicles had been recovered by security forces.
Nijat Nawaz, secretary of the Traffic Department, told Pajhwok Afghan News the electronic registration process of vehicles had started eight months earlier.
The purpose of this process was to register right hand driver vehicles as well as robbed vehicles.
He said around 600 robbed vehicles in Kabul and provinces had been found and after identification handed over to its owner.
