SHIBERGHAN/TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): At least four people have been killed and three others wounded in two separate traffic accidents in northern Jawzjan and central Uruzgan provinces, officials said on Wednesday.
Uruzgan police spokesman Bilal Uruzgani said a motorcycle collided with a car on Tuesday evening in the Kandahar Adda area of Tirinkot.
He said two people lost their lives and as many were wounded in the incident. The injured were evacuated to the main provincial hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, a doctor at the hospital said the injured were in stable condition.
Separately, two people were killed and one injured as a result of a traffic accident in the Faizabad district of Jawzjan province.
The accident took place on the Mazar-Shiberghan highway after a car collided with a truck, police spokesman Abdul Sattar Haleemi said.
