PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Five persons died of Tuberculosis (TB) out of total 990 affected people in the past six months in northern Baghlan province, an official said on Sunday.
Dr. Ghulam Muhauddin Ghulami, head of the TB Control Section at the Public Health Department, told Pajhwok Afghan News according to the World Health Organisation (WHO) statistics 75,000 people annually affected from TB.
He said 981 people affected by TB last year in which seven people including three women died.
He said women affected by TB more than men because women are most of the time inside the house . . .
