JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Six people, including four Pakistanis, have been arrested with 90 kilograms of hashish in eastern Nangarhar province.
201 Khalid bin Waleed corps officials said four of the arrested persons belonged to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and two others to Nangahar.
201 Khalid bin Waleed corps spokesman Maulavi Wahidullah Muhammadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the smugglers were arrested in Momand Dara area Spinghar districts last night.
He said the detainees wanted to smuggle the drugs across the Durand Line, but they were arrested and introduced to relevant legal authority after investigation.
Nangarhar Information and Culture Department also confirmed the arrest of six smugglers in a statement sent to Pajhwok.
Khalid bin Waleed Crops had previously arrested 28 people on drug trafficking charges in Durbaba district.
