Football: Afghanistan beats Magnolia 1-0

ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Afghanistan defeated Magnolia a qualifying contest for the 2026 Football World Cup and 2027 Asian Football Cup.

According to the Afghanistan Football Federation the match was played on Thursday evening in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

Afghanistan won the match by one goal which was struck by Jabbar Sherza in the 60^th minute of the play. The players dedicated their win to the earthquakes victims in Herat province.
