UAE building hospital in quake-hit Herat

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is building a hospital in the earthquake-hit Herat province.

To treat quake-wounded individuals, the hospital would be constructed within eight hours, Bakhtar News Agency reported.

The plan for building the medical facility was announced by a UAE team that visited the province. The delegation, including health workers, has also brought equipment.

Herat Governor Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islamjar commended the UAE gesture promised support for the hospital’s construction.
