KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (MoPVPV) has pledged to generate work opportunities for repatriated Afghans, according to a statement on Monday.
Repatriated ulemas who meet the criteria for the supervisor positions will be hired by the ministry after their documents evaluation, the statement said.
It added interested candidates could share their educational documents, copy of Tazker and four photographs with the ministry until December 6.
Shaik Mohammad Khalid, acting minister of the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, called on provincial departments to show solidarity the repatriated Afghans by giving them support in the provision of houses and encouraged others to provide with free of cost or inexpensive goods.
Khalilurrahman Haqqani, Minister for the Refugees and Repatriation, said 300,000 Afghan refugees have returned to the country since November 1, a deadline set by Pakistani government to illegal Afghan refugees to leave the country.
