KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan bodybuilder Mohammad Ayoub Azami has won a silver medal in the World Bodybuilding Championship in South Korea.
The Afghanistan Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (AFBBF) said on Saturday Azami bagged the medal in the 100-kg weight category.
AFBBF wrote on its Facebook page the Afghan defeated his Iraqi, Uzbek and Indian rivals in this competition and won silver medal.
Ali Reza Asahi, another Afghan muscleman, had won a gold medal in the competition on Thursday.
Athletes from 48 countries participated in the event, including three from Afghanistan.
