FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Construction work on buildings for 10 health clinics has been completed at a cost of $340,000 in a number of districts of western Farah province.
In a statement, Information and Culture Department said the problems of the people would be addressed with the opening of these clinics.
The clinic buildings — funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) – had been put into service in Farah City, two each in Purchaman, Gulistan, Farahroad districts and one each in Khak-i-Safid and Qala-i-Kah districts.
These projects completed in seven months, according to the source.
Earlier, residents of remote areas of this province had complained against the lack of access to healthcare services.
