2 narcotics processing factories destroyed in Helmand

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Two narcotics production factories have been found and destroyed in Baghran district of southern Helmand province, police official said on Thursday.

Police spokesman Mullah Ezatullah Haqqani told Pajhwok Afghan News that the factories were discovered during an operation in Shena Jama area of the district based on a tip-off.

Haqqani added that 450 kilograms of soda, eight kilograms of gypsum, 30 litres of diesel and a large amount of ephedra were seized from these factories.
