ZARANJ/JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three people have been killed and 12 others injured due to two separate traffic accidents of eastern Nangarhar and northeastern Nimroz provinces.
Sardar Mohammad Rahimi, an official of the traffic management in Nimroz, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a car collided with a passenger bus in Chahar Burjak district on Wednesday evening.
He said two people were killed and as many others wounded in the accident. However, the victims of the accident wanted to go to Iran through the route of this district.
In Nangarhar, at least 10 people were injured after a Saracha type vehicle veered of the road and overturned in Chaparhar district on Wednesday.
Naqibullah Rahimi, a spokesman for the public health department, said the injured were evacuated to the district clinic for medical treatment.
