KABUL (Pajhwok): The first National Premier Innovations Exhibition organized by the Technical and Professional Institution (TPI) has been inaugurated in capital Kabul
Individuals, including students, presented their innovations in the three day exhibition.
Mawlavi Ghulam Haidar Shahamat, head of the Professional and Technical Institution during the inaugural ceremony said despite limited resources the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), was able to provide security and improve the economic condition of the country.
He added the main TPI was to polish human resources and present professional and skilled work force.
He added Afghanistan’s natural resources sector needed professional people and currently 580 students are busy learning in the field of natural resources.
Acting Higher Education Minister Nida Mohammad Nadim, said complete coordination existed among different government institutions and this had a positive impact.
He said the Higher Education Ministry will hire the PTI students after their graduation in the required fields. Abdul Baqi Haqqani, head of the National Examination Authority, said a decent opportunity was available for the development of Afghanistan and proper attention should be given how the young generation of Afghanistan should be trained.
He said refugees returning from Pakistan have a golden opportunity for the development of Afghanistan and they should spend their investment inside the county.
During the gathering the TPI inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Urban Development.
