MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Hundreds of students, who graduated from the university in northern Balkh province this year, say the government should provide them with job opportunities.
Balkh University chancellor Zia Rahman Zia Karimi said 1500 students graduated from 16 faculties of the Balkh University this year.
Meanwhile, the graduates say the government should to provide them with job opportunities.
Nasir Ahmad Hakimi, who graduated from the Faculty of Law, said he received his degree after four years of hard work. “But I fear I will remain unemployed”.
Hakimi urged the government to hire the graduates in different departments.
Ajmal Yaqubi, another graduate, said majority of his classmates wanted to continue their studies and the government should help them pursue study ti master’s and doctorate levels inside and outside the country.
Zia Karimi assured the graduating students that they would be employed in government and non-governmental institutions.
