MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Unidentified assailants have killed a woman in the Pashtunkot district of northern Faryab province, an official said on Thursday.
Damla Mahawez, crime branch police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place in Bocha area of the district on Wednesday night.
He identified the victim as 45-year-old Musamat Gulbar, who was killed by unknow individuals inside her house.
Mahawez said the motive behind the murder was yet to be ascertained, but the relatives of the victim had pointed some individuals out and they would be detained if the claim was proven.
