KABUL (Pajhwok): Islamic Emirate supreme leader Sheikh Haibatullah Akhunzada has asked the caretakers ministers not to use force against the people as they would defy them and provide services to all people without distinction.
Akhunzada, who chaired a two-day meeting of the Council of Ministers in Kandahar on Monday and Tuesday, asked the ministers to invite people to religion and Islamic morals through encouragement, persuasion and good manners instead of force.
He added the enforcement of Sharia law and serving the people was primary duty of officials, IEA spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid wrote on his X handle.
The supreme leader said the rights of nearly 40 million people of Afghanistan were related to each ministry and every citizen should be served equally.
“Learn a lesson from the fate of the infamous officials of the past, don’t forget the academic and jihadi era, adorn yourself with the morals of righteous people. Don’t be happy if you are given responsibility and don’t be sad if you are relieved from it.”
In the meeting, other government officials also talked about the deportations of Afghan refugees from Pakistan and the value of the afghani.
The meeting also discussed the current situation and ongoing political activities to further develop relations with neighboring and other countries and solutions to existing problems.
Members of the Political Commission headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs were entrusted with the task of preparing constructive foreign and domestic policies and strategies.
Necessary decisions were made about provision of good services in educational affairs, increasing the scientific capacity in different (religious and modern) fields, solving the problems of teachers and students.
