Muttaqi, Turkmen envoy confer on economic issues

KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has met the ambassador of Turkmenistan in Kabul on bilateral relations between the two countries, especially economic issues.

Deputy spokesman for Foreign Ministry Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal wrote on his X handle that Muttaqi met Hoja Ovezov in Kabul.

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed mega joint projects, Takal said, without giving further details.

Muttaqi had earlier met Russian Ambassador Dmitry Zhirnov on political and economic cooperation between Kabul and Moscow.
