Children among 7 injured in Jawzjan accident

SHIBEGHAN (Pajhwo): Four children were among seven people injured in a traffic accident in northern Jawzjan province on Friday.

Jawzjan police spokesman Qari Abdul Sattar Halimi, told Pajhwok the early morning incident happened in Kamarband area on the Shiberghan-Mazar-i-Sharif highway.

He said seven people including one man, two women and four children were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned.

Halimi blamed the accident on the driver’s recklessness and said the injured had been taken to the Shiberghan hospital for treatment.

The accident comes two days after one person died and two others were injured when a pick-up vehicle skidded off the road and overturned on the Shiberghan-Qush Tapa highway.
