200 people, half of them women, learn skills in Farah

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Some 200 people, half of them women, have graduated from different vocational skills in western Farah province, the provincial Information and Culture Department said on Wednesday.

The Information and Culture Department announced that Razi organization imparted a six-month electronic and mobile repair and tailoring training to hundreds of people.

The graduates included 100 women, the department said in a statement.

It said the provincial Labor and Social Affairs Department had been able help thousands of people graduate from different vocational programs during the past two years.

The statement said a number of the graduates had been appointed in government departments and organizations.

Ezatullah, a resident of Bala Buluk district who graduated from mobile repair training course, said that he learnt much about mobile repairing in the six months.

He said after graduation he received mobile related devices to work and support his family.
