SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): One person was killed and another injured in a traffic accident in northern Jawzjan province on Thursday, a police official said.
Police spokesman Qari Abdul Sattar Halimi told Pajhwok Afghan News a truck collided with a car on the Shiberghan-Khwaja Dokoh district highway at 6am
He said one person was killed and another injured as a result of the collision.
The injured person was evacuated to the main provincial hospital, he said, adding the truck driver had been arrested.
