KABUL (Pajhwok): Nearly 100 families, mostly returnees or displaced, have moved into new homes in Bamyan, built by UNHCR through partner Wasta Organisation, the Refugees Agency said on Friday.
On its Twitter handle UNHCR wrote: “The building work was completed before winter sets in. The new homes will also be fitted with solar panels & traditional bukhari heaters.”
It added: “UNHCR Afghanistan is grateful for contributions from all our donors including governments, foundations private donors and country-based polled funds.”
