KABUL (Pajhwok): A 50-over tri-series featuring under-19 cricket teams from Afghanistan, India and the hosts South Africa will commence on December 29, the Afghan Cricket Board said on Thursday.
ACB wrote on its Facebook page the series in South Africa will start on December 29 and will continue until January 10.
The board said the matches to be played at Old Edwardians Cricket Club in Johannesburg have been organized in coordination with the mentioned countries to fine-tune their game ahead the ICC men’s Under-19 World Cup.
Afghanistan will play their first match against India on December 29 and the second match against South Africa on December 31.
Afghanistan will take on India their third match on January 4, and the last and fourth match against South Africa on January 8.
Final match between the two best teams will be played on January 10.
The Under-19 Cricket World Cup will begin on January 19 in South Africa.
